best boise parks

School is out, summer is here, and it’s time to get outdoors. Fortunately, Idaho and the Boise area offer many parks and open spaces for us to enjoy. Whether you are looking for something far from or within the city, you have several choices. At Hansen Injury Law Firm, we love the city of Boise and what it has to offer. This post points out some of our picks for the best Boise parks. We are sure there are many other great options. If you have a personal favorite you don’t see here, leave a comment and let us know!

Best Boise Parks to Visit

The following parks are some of our favorites. As we mentioned above, feel free to leave a comment if you have other suggestions!

  • Ann Morrison Park

This park is a blast. Stretching for 153 acres, it has many things for you and your family to enjoy. The park features tennis courts, a spray fountain, a softball diamond, fields for football and soccer, a cricket field, and picnic pavilions. It is a great option for those who want to get outdoors, but not travel too far.

  • Boise River Greenbelt

The greenbelt trail along the Boise River may not exactly be a “park,” but it is one of our favorite places to be outdoors. The walking path winds beside the river and through the city. It is a wonderful choice for bike rides with friends and family, and a good option for fishers looking for spots to cast.

  • Julia Davis Park

The Julia Davis Park also features many activities for everyone to enjoy. The Zoo Boise and the Black History Museum are a part of the park. Both are great places to visit. The park is also very well-maintained, and a beautiful place to play, ride a bike, or have a picnic.

  • Boise National Forest

Just about 30 minutes outside of the city, the Boise National Forest has everything you would expect from a national forest. Just driving through is a great and scenic experience, but getting out and hiking is even better. It is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. It offers camping, hiking, and fishing, among other outdoor activities.

If you are injured as a result of someone else’s negligence or carelessness, you may be eligible for compensation in an injury case.
