Fortunately, there are many fun events and activities to take part in throughout Idaho.The weather is improving, meaning Easter egg hunts and other outdoor activities are that much more enjoyable. The Easter Egg Drop at the Cathedral of the Rockies is an awesome egg hunt. Your kids will have a blast searching for over 20,000 eggs. This free event occurs on April 15th.

Experience an Easter egg hunt like you never have before — in the pool. At the Nampa Rec Center, you can hunt floating and sunken eggs. There are even kayaks available for use. This April 15th event is free for Rec Center members, and under $10 for a day pass for non-members.

  • Easter Brunch and Dinner

Food is always a good way to celebrate the holidays. Easter brunch and dinner are two great examples of this. There are many great restaurants throughout the state that offer special menus and meals for Easter. Some options in Boise include brunch buffets at Angell’s Bar & Grill and BrickYard Steakhouse.

Hosted by Engage Boise, The Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt is a unique and exciting way for kids to search for eggs. The event allows for kids up to the age of 12 to participate. This hunt starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, the 15th.

This event at Capital Church in Meridian is one of the biggest egg hunts anywhere. Kids will search for over 100,000 eggs, and there will even be skydiving Easter bunnies. The event starts on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
