Impaired drivers cause serious accidents on a regular basis. Whether caused by alcohol or drugs, driving under the influence is a serious danger. For this reason, Idaho DUI laws are strict and aim to deter impaired drivers. Police officers are specially trained to spot drivers who are under the influence. The best way to keep yourself safe is to follow the simple rule: don’t drink and drive. But it is also important to know what the laws are, and at Hansen Injury Law, we strive to help Idahoans understand their rights. This post explains DUI laws in Idaho.
What are the Idaho DUI Laws?
In the state of Idaho you are considered to be driving under the influence if you meet the following conditions. If any of these are true in your case, you can be charged with a DUI.
