idaho roadside attractions

It is never too early to start planning a fun spring or summer road trip. A great destination is key to such a trip, but taking time to see things along the way can be rewarding. At Hansen Injury Law Firm, we love the state of Idaho and all of the sights and attraction it offers. Many of these sights and attractions can be found in unexpected places along Idaho’s roads and highways. This post identifies some of our favorite Idaho roadside attractions.

Great Idaho Roadside Attractions

These are just a few of the many awesome sites around the state. If you have your own favorite Idaho roadside attractions, leave a comment and let us know!

The potato is central to Idaho culture. The Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot celebrates the history of the potato with several interesting artifacts and exhibits. At this museum, you can see the world’s largest potato chip, learn how the potato industry works, and see how many ways the potato affects the culture and economy of the state.

The Museum of Clean is exactly what it sounds like: a museum about what it means to be clean. Don Aslett opened this museum in Pocatello in order to help people learn about the many different ways to stay clean. This roadside attraction offers many hands-on activities and exhibits. Some fun things to see include historical washing machines, toilets, and almost 1,000 different vacuums.

The Shoshone Ice Caves are a sight to see. These ice caves stay frozen all year, no matter what the outside temperature is. This volcanic cave is a great pit stop on a road trip through Idaho.

Please let us know if you have other suggestions of Idaho roadside attractions. We’d love to check them out!
